[SOLVED] Intel UHD 620 - turned off backlight

Hello, guys! I have a trouble with backlight - it is turning off when I close and open my laptop with connected 2nd monitor. Is anybody with the same problem?

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

SMBIOS truncation is obvious based on ioreg.
Set config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/DellSMBIOSPatch=true.

Backlight control not implemented.

I follow your instruction step-by-step and after finish nothing changed..backlight control not appeared.
But after "kextcache -I /" I got this output:

Kext with invalid signatured (-67062) allowed: <OSKext 0x7fb584944340 [0x7fff87b798e0]> { URL = "AppleBacklightInjector.kext/ -- file:///Library/Extensions/", ID = "org.rehabman.injector.AppleBacklightInjector" }

Don't know is it good or not.

I enable GFX0->IGPU patch. But backlight control is also invisible..(
Kext AppleBacklightInjector.kext is installed in /L/E/, but it doesn't helps in my situation.

Your kexts still not installed correctly (eg. no sign that FakeSMC.kext is installed).
All kexts you need must be installed to the system volume.

Don't forget to rebuild cache, then reboot as mentioned in the guide.

When I installed FakeSMC.kext to the /L/E/ my comp stops booting on "Didn't find DPMicro"

And can not boot also in recovery mode...
