Every time Intel Power Gadget starts, my PC just reboots. Is a DSDT required to run it? If so, how to get a DSDT?
Nope. I ended up using HWMonitor.Same problem. Can you solve this?
I found an odd solution: Uninstall the actual Intel Power Gadget, using the included uninstaller (Applications/Intel Power Gadget/Uninstaller.pkg) and install an older version. I installed version 3.0.1 (Nov 11 2014) and it is works perfectly with High Sierra.
If I try to install and use a newer version, High Sierra immediately reboots, and after reboot I have a kernel panic.

Same problem...
Try Intel Power Gadget 3.5.1 for Mac.Do you have a download link to this version 3.0.1?
We've posted Power Gadget for Mac 3.5.1, which resolves the issue with 3.5.0 that caused crashes on 2nd and 3rd generation Core products.
