[SOLVED] Install with RX580 Sapphire Pulse goes black during startup

This might have a simple answer but I can do the install with the built in Intel video but if I put in the RX580 and do the install I get a black screen half way through the startup screen with the white Apple logo and the progress bar gets about halfway.

Should I complete the install with the built in Intel video or should I have the RX580 working during the install?

I moved the WhateverGreen.kext and Lilu.kext into the Clover/kexts folder like everyone says.

Here's what I did that solved this problem. I read and watched a ton of videos, many were dated and offered complex solutions that I avoided until I believed I had the right one.

1. I followed the instructions that are on the bottom of every page here, https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.235474/

2. Using the built in video I got the system up and running as per the instructions above.

3. Update to system 10.13.6 using the App Store.

4. Install RX580 Sapphire Pulse

5. There is no step 5. No kexts or other screwing around needed, it just worked. Easiest install I've ever done.
