I have updated the smbios but still have no wake from sleep when the lid has been shutdown for a while. I have attached the reporting files. I have installed no programs except chrome & clover configurator. Any ideas? Once again thank you for your time.

You did not provide EFI/Clover.

Please read the guide carefully... section "Problem Reporting".

Also, test sleep only with Apple->Sleep (and power button to wake). Make sure you remove all external devices. Make sure you disabled hibernation as per guide.

Hi, sorry about the clover file, please see attached.
I have tested with the apple > sleep and I get the same situation, no wake from sleep after a while.
No external devices connected.
I followed the guide to disable hibernation. How do you double check that hibernation is disabled?

The current guide does not use AppleHDAHCD_ProBook.kext. Why is it installed?

You should have config.plist/SMBIOS/Trust=true. For some reason, the key is missing.

You can check hibernatemode with 'pmset -g' in Terminal.

What happens when you press the power button after sleep?

I had no sound after the guide, tried restarting twice without caches and no sound. I then looked back through the post and installed the kext as per post #19 and sound then worked.

please see the output of pmset-g below:
Marks-MacBook-Air:~ markallen$ pmset -g
Active Profiles:
Battery Power -1
AC Power -1*
Currently in use:
standby 1
womp 0
halfdim 1
hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage
powernap 0
networkoversleep 0
disksleep 0
sleep 0
autopoweroffdelay 14400
hibernatemode 0
autopoweroff 1
ttyskeepawake 1
displaysleep 0
standbydelay 10800

If I press the power button nothing happens. Have pressed it and left for 5 minutes but no response.

The kext should not be installed. Remove it, and if audio is not working, post "Problem Reporting" files.

Have you tried a fresh install? Also check BIOS settings.

I did do a fresh install as the only problem I had was not being able to resume from sleep.

I followed the bios settings from the guide. Is there any settings you recommend looking at in the bios.

I have edited the config.plist and added the trust line.

I will now remove the kext and see if sound works.

Your problem could also have to do with the OCZ SSD (I assume you meant to write OCZ, not OZ in your sig). The OCZ SSDs are not known for their reliability/compatibility.

Try a conventional HDD, different SSD, or try disabling the TRIM patch.

I started over again on the normal hd, reset the bios and then changed the settings in the bios as per the guide and followed the guide and sleep is working on this hard drive.

I then checked the bios settings again, wiped the ssd and repeated the install and followed the guide and success.

The laptop now wakes from deep sleep and the power button pulses whilst in deep sleep.

Thank you for all your help and time.
