Read the README so you know how to use MaciASL and how to patch your native DSDT.

I read it and i did it .

Now dsdt.aml is ready and i have installed backlight . what next ?

Copy dsdt.aml to /Extra/dsdt.aml (as described in the README) and reboot.

Can't boot . See this graphics error

I entered single user -s and removed appleintelhd* appleintelsnb* appleintelframe*

its now have a copy of these in /intel_backup

and reboot. its run on 1024x768

What next ?

How can i install good graphics now

This message:
"OSMetaClass: Kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB class HDCPCtrl is a duplicate; kext com.apple.driver.AppleFramebufferCapri already has a class by that name."

... indicates failure to patch DSDT as described in post #4, or that you did the patch but then ALSO used patched framebuffer kexts... (you do not want to use the "Intel graphics patch for mixed systems" in Multibeast.

Double-check your DSDT (post the DSDT.aml you have in /Extra/dsdt.aml if you want me to look).

And make sure your Intel graphics kexts are vanilla...

how can I make sure my Intel graphics are vanilla?
what is vanilla ??

this is my DSDT.aml I patched as you told me befor

{"HD3000 Low Resolution"
"HD3000 on 7-series"

"Rename GFX0 to IGPU"
"Brightness Fix (HD3000/HD4000)"
installed this kext (just release one) : https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-ACPI-Backlight }


I put it in Extra folder that I was created manually

I well reboot system now

these are files
(AppleIntelSNB*, AppleIntelFrame*, AppleIntelHD*) i have moved it from /System/Library/Extensions to this folder

You cannot just move files into /S/L/E. You must use an installer such as Kext Wizard to be certain permissions are set correctly.

yah I know but I mean I did that by -s mode from booting >> now these in this folder IntelHD that I was make it >> so what next I have to do for these Kext after I boot without them ?

its moved from ( S/L/E ) to ( /IntelHD )

now I can boot from HDD its RUN

every things work good else (audio & graphics still 1024x768 big)

install graphics KEXTs these ?

for audio I tried multi beast Drivers > audio > VoodooHDA 2.84

it is in S/L/E but doesn't work




and I don't know what should before patch DSDT or install Kext

If those are your backup kexts, yes... install with Kext Wizard. This is mentioned in post #4 already...

No experience here with VoodooHDA. I use patched AppleHDA instead.

You must have the graphics related DSDT patches in place before attempting to boot with the graphics kexts installed.
