[SOLVED] GTX 285?

Sorry for another post asking a question about a graphics card, but just wondering - will a GTX 285 work in Snow Leopard without anything crazy like DSDT editing?

Edit: Or maybe a more simple question for those of you who have 285's, can I just do GraphicsEnabler = Yes and the card will work?

Jim,
That very same card is used by CakeMonster...

He is using my DSDT, with no specific NVDA stuff there...

I believe it should work with just GraphicsEnabler=Yes

Yes,

GraphicsEnabler=Yes works...

Note that in OSX the drivers are not as good as they are in Windows...That said, Apple actually sells the GTX 285 for Mac, so the drivers would not be any better with a regular mac.

Apple also sols the 8800GT which is the same chipset as the 9800 GT (I think 9800GT has die shrink though), hence I think that is a great choice as well for less $$$

Evga 285 has been confirmed working as cakemonster stated. I recently picked up a second 285, this one being an XFX, and I can confirm it works out of the box too
