I have a haswell g3258 cpu, msi h81i Mainboard, 8gb ram, sandisk 120 ssd, nvidia gtx760. Currently running sierra 10.12.6 successfully with fakecpuid 0x0306A0, piker alpha bootstrap patch (10.12.6) and vit9696 cupid_set_info listed below. System is using native xcpm power management. Changed clover config.plist for the HS 10.13 bootstrap patch listed below to install release production version HS. I get kernel panic from applecpumangement.

Does release version 10.13 require a new bootstrap patch other than the one listed below?

10.12~10.13

Did you ever get this sorted? I having issues trying to get High Sierra installed on this CPU as well

same problem here!i only succeed with null cpu....any help on native power management from a guru?

@micenusa, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard or Make/Model, CPU and Graphics Card.
If you have multiple systems add them to your signature or build signature.

I got HS to load by inserting nullcpupower.kext in clover efi folder /kexts/other. After the install is completed I just removed nullcpupower kext and the system now boots properly with xcpm native power management. Repeated the process to upgrade to 10.13.1. and now to 10.13.2.

System is MSI h81I
Intel g3258
8gb of ddr3 ram
sandisk 120 ssd
evga nividia 670gtx (natively recognized)

can you certify with a screenshot from intel power gadget?

can you certify with a screenshot from intel power gadget?

Find screenshot attached

Also Im using an EVGA 760 not 670

also using a custom piker-alpha script generated ssdt for the g3258 overclocked to 4.0.

Good Luck
