[Solved] Fault CR2 CPU

Hi, my sierra install on ga-z77x-up5-th suddenly would only boot into black screen, tried some boot options and got black screen with no entry!

Time for an update i thought, backed up SSD OS drive, ordered a powercolor Radeon RX 560 4gb, downloaded latest unibeast and multibeast for High Sierra and created install boot usb from my Macbook pro.

Updated bios to z77xup5th_mod9_12j checked threads to ensure bios settings all good.

Tried booting install usb, no joy never seemed to load. Tried doing it with -v and starts to boot, but get error

Fault CF2: 0x00000000000000001 Error code 0x00000000000000000 Fault CPU: 0x0 PL: 6 VF 5

any ideas?

Should note, booting to original sierra install with -v does not give CR2 error, just does very slow RTS scan of every file
Safe mode boot gives black screen no entry sign.

I nuked current unibeast usb, deleted current HS install file, downloaded new one.

Created new unibeast usb install drive, then

add kext
AppleIntelE1000e.kext

to
EFI -> Clover -> kexts -> Other

Edit clover config.plist

Acpi -> Fix Shutdown, Fix Headers = yes

Boots fine now

Oh god I was searching for this like forever. Didn’t even need the kext. For my dell XPS8500 (i7 3770) I just built the stick with Unibeast and selected to drop dmar, Fix Headers, Fix Shutdown, Fix SATA. That’s it.
