I install the Sierra successfully on my MSI GS63VR (FHD, using Unibeast & Multibeast & Clover) and I can boot up the system with the the USB installer.

But when I want to boot it up from the SATA SSD, it shows a black screen after the white apple with a progress bar of 2/3. (With HD530 & nv_disable=1)

There is another NVMe SSD installed, but I guess it will be disabled automatically without support.

Don't know the reason and fail to fix it after a while but it must be a config problem.

Considering to install an El Capiton instead.

By the way, ALC899 is not supported, is it?

It means your EFI/Clover setup on the SSD is incorrect/different from the USB.

I see. Is there a way to copy USB's config? I have SSD's EFI mounted.

Thanks.

Thanks.

You can use Finder to copy files and folders.

Copied the entire CLOVER folder from USB to SSD, but it doesn't help...

Maybe I should reinstall CLOVER.

No idea without details...

Boot verbose, show photo. Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).

I tried to update the Clover to the latest version, but the same problem occurs.

Problem solved now.

I just removed the entire EFI folder on SSD and copied USB's EFI to SSD.
The attachment is USB's EFI, which comes from UniBeast.

Working:
CPU:i7-6700HQ
RAM: 2x8G DDR4-2400
iGPU: HD530
Lan: Killer E2400
Panel: 15.6" FHD in real, but 30.5" FHD in "About This Mac"
External USB Keyboard & Mouse
USB: 3x 3.0 ports + 1x 2.0 port

Not Working / Not Sure:
Audio: Unknown. ALC899? Intel Skylake on-board?
dGPU: GTX1060
WiFi & Bluetooth: Killer 1535
Keyboard & TouchPad
Thunderbolt 3
HDMI
Mini DP
SD Reader
