[Solved] External Drive Won't Load Anymore After 10.13.4 Update

Hi, I have hit a brick wall and don't know what to do.

I have a 4TB WD Elements external drive that was working fine but after the 10.13.4 update it won't show up anymore.

The drive works fine on my MacBook Pro so it isn't faulty. I've tried shutting down disconnecting all USB ports. Resetting the NVRAM.

The drive shows up in BIOS but won't show up anywhere once booted into macOS.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you. I just tried this new kext but it still isn't working. None of my usb 3 ports are working it seems.

Edit: I got it to work. The code from Insanelymac is slightly different and that worked for me!
