I dont have windows and can't extract the .exe posted on gigabyte's website
Would anyone know where I can get the bios file?
Perhaps upload it for me somewhere?

you have same problem with me thatwant to update bios but it's exe extension

I think may be it could work with VMware to run windows on your Mac and update via that

but I think it not a good choice

at least it's a better way to find a windows and update bios by original windows

you dont need windows, just download the free app "the unarchiver" from the app store, i updated using this and lion - thats it.

Seems like the DSDT file for this mobo is disappeared from the DSDT Database.. There was one available for Bios version 5. I had some issues with my Firewire soundcard in Windows. (M-Audio ProFire 610) I mailed Gigabyte and they send me version F9, witch is not yet released. So I think they will release it in a few days/weeks.

Why is this mobo disappeared from the database? Is anyone making a new one ?

You don't need a DSDT for this board, why is that so hard to grasp?

Stuffit Expander also works for extracting the BIOS.

hey randall
I have the exact same system/i7/video card as you
I'm having difficulty getting past the apple boot screen after lion install
and once i do get it to install I cant get audio to work no matter what i do
any chance you can help my with multibeast setting?
I would be very appreciative as I'm going crazy here!!!!
