So, every time I start my HP 840 G3, before the Clover startup screen appears, I get some debug text.

Is there a way to hide it?

It is from apfs.efi in drivers64UEFI. If you search you can find instructions for patching it.
Or you could install to HFS+J instead of APFS and then you don't need it.

I used https://github.com/ArieShout/apfs.efi to patch it. And it works!
