G'day all,

I've looked around the forums but I cant really see anything that will help.

I've been following Tony's Uni Beast method to the T. When I reboot into the USB-HDD and Chimera comes up, I see both "USB", and "Hack Pro" which is my boot volume. the usb option seems to be selected (It's glowing?) yet I cant get any further.

I've tried hitting every button on my KB, tried a few different keyboards, the apple trackpad, and a mouse, but nothing seems to work?

Any Ideas?

Cheers

Re: Chimera Boot Screen Issues

The arrow keys are the way to change boot volume in Chimera. If you can't, it would suggest that USB is not working and that indicates that the bootloader isn't fully supporting the USB function. You might want to try an rBoot disk or make sure you have the latest Chimera installed on your boot drive if you are trying to boot off of that.

Re: Chimera Boot Screen Issues

Thanks for the reply,

I'm currently running the new versions of everything. I updated this morning just incase. I've heard ps/2 kb suggested? Any other thoughts?

UPDATE: I now have control of unibeast / chimera. Spent $12 on a PS/2 keyboard.

Full control now achieved and Lion is installing as we speak.

Cheers
