[Solved] Can't record screen with Quicktime Player

Using Quicktime Player, I can't record a screen recording (File->New Screen recording)

When I try it, I get the attached error.

The movie recording function works fine.

Not sure where to start with this. The only thing I can think of is I was able to do this w/ my NVIDIA 1080 and the NVIDIA web drivers installed, but I pulled it out (an uninstalled the NVIDIA drivers) and dropped in a Radeon RX Vega 64, which other than that issue is working great.

Anyone else see this? I am also seeing the same with the Mojave Beta. Which has me concerned as well.

I'm seeing this now in Mojave, and before in Hight Sierra. Any idea?

Do youy mean my internal graphics card? No, I've disabled it in the bios of my motherboard.

I think i have imac 19,1, befor tht i also had 14,1

So it is worth atry, youncan even keep the otherbvalues such as serial etc

Went into the BIOS and changed "Internal Graphics" from Auto to ON - and that appears to have fixed that issue. Not sure if it will create another though
