[SOLVED]Blu-Ray Drive not functional in Lion

In my Snow Leopard install, the Blu-Ray drive worked fine. However I can't get it to work properly in Lion (it works fine in Windows 7) - the system report says "No disc burning device was found. If the device is external, make sure it’s connected and turned on."

ACHI mode is enabled in the BIOS. Does anyone know what I need to install to get it to work properly in Lion?

Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 MB
Intel i7 2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4 GHz
Gigabyte HD 6850 1GB
Patriot Pyro 120 GB SSD
Corsair XMS3 8GB 1600 RAM
NZHX H2 Silent White case
Corsair HX 650W PSU
Hyper 212 EVO cooler CPU cooler
LG Blu-Ray Drive

Installed 10.7.5 Lion

I never found a solution to this. However I updated to Mountain Lion and my Blu Ray is working fine again.
