Since upgrading to version 11.5 all the files on my Western Digital MyCloud NAS are displayed with modification dates exactly ten years into the future from their actual "last modified" dates. This appears to be a bug in the Big Sur Finder only. The actual metadata is probably uncorrupted because other operating systems that have access to that device display the modification dates correctly.

I have another file server accessed via SMB that is unaffected by this glitch.

I tried disconnecting and then re-connecting the server. No joy.

However, a reboot restored the dates to normal. Why the Finder added 10 years to every date is a mystery to me, however, it didn't actually corrupt the metadata on the device.

The problem may have to do with the Realtek8111.kext I'm using. This MB uses the Realtek 8118 Gaming LAN chip. Realtek8111.kext is supposed to be universal, but I suspect there are compatibility issues with my hardware. From time to time networking on this platform behaves strangely.
