I have no xHCI handoff setting in my bios FYI, dunno if it has anything to do with this.

In later versions of Asus BIOS', they seem to have replaced XHCI Handoff with "USB Keyboard and Mouse Simulator". Look in Advanced/USB Configuration/USB Keyboard and Mouse Simulator and disable it.

I already read about that, it's disabled.
Check your BIOS selections related to your IGPU _intel HD 630 and your CLOVER\kexts\Other specifically related to Graphics making sure the empty numbered folders (10.6 to 10.13) are not in the way ( suggest "Send to Trash" ) of Clover finding "Other" with all essential kexts INCLUDING Lilu and IntelGraphicsFixUp and the CLOVER/drivers64UEFI have all the required kexts ( usually will be) and then config.plist is appropriate for Intel HD 630 in "Devices" section and "Graphics" section . Check "ACPI" section and keep only the ones you really need for your system as [√] in the Fixes . Often a host of them are pre-checked by default!

Changed ProductName to MacPro6,1 and seemed to get a little further into the boot process:

I can't find a guide on configuring SMBIOS settings in config.plist, can anyone point me in the right direction?

  • Current problem at gIOScreenLockState freeze is Graphics card related: [See image]

  • Upload the CLOVER from the booting disk as a compressed file or
    • Edit your CLOVER as appropriate for your Graphics card.

  • Choose your BIOS Graphics Options for the chosen Graphics card.
    • If your IGFX is set to Auto, Disable if you are using NVIDIA Graphics .
  • Since you have Z270 you can try using iMac 18,3 as SMBIOS .
    • You can use it as a trial through CBM Screen>Options>SMBIOS>
      • change Product name by backspace delete and typing in iMac18,3
    • Return to CBM screen and boot the disk.

I'll try this when I get home.
I've attached the CLOVER folder.
  • I see a mix of options for your Graphics in your CLOVER.
    • That can cause the present issue.
Can you confirm what Graphics card (PCIE or IGFX) is
  • currently connected digitally to your Display Monitor and
  • the BIOS choices pertaining to that Graphics?

The onboard GPU is connected via hdmi.

In BIOS:
Primary Display is set to IGFX.
Tried DVMT at 64 mb and 128 mb with same result.
