I bought the same card from this guide and followed it:
http://x86wifi.blogspot.com/2010/04/how ... -card.html

Both the mini pci and the Apple airport card but it seems be some problems around it. The speed between my Airport Extreme and my hack is going up and down.
I have att. a screenshot of the log from extreme where my hack is the yellow one and my macbook is the blue one.

Anybody discovered any similar?

Cheers
Soren

Re: Apple airport card with problems

I figured it out.
The metal can that covers the apple card was making a short to the two antenna connections on the airport card witch caused the bad signal.

I didn't take a picture myself so I borrowed on and drew where the short was.

I did not bother with the metal shielding as the Apple card is already shielded, and I don't care too much about aesthetics. After all, my sytem's case is going to be shut 99% of the time.
