[Solved] AMD/ATI black screen at end of boot.

Hi I'm new around here and my brothers hackingtosh (2nd build is a

Core 2Quad q8400
4gb ddr2
Ati 7870
Dell mobo with a14 bios

Boots up definition as Mac Pro 3.1 and right at the end black screens but when I boot from El Capitan USB install with Darwin it boots up and the display works (yes I did copy the config.plist) and no difference

Help please

Okay I managed to fix it.

(REMEMBER TO BACK UP AS YOU GO ALONG)

1. Copied all the files from the installers USB efi and pasted over efi on main hard drive

2. Deleted anything that was in clover as 32bit (seems to be an issue with Cpu and bios)

3. Made new config with Just SMBIOS page filled out and choose a theme. (to change serial number to correct one)

4 made sure all drivers where in correct folders so Darwin can recognise them and finally restart and it worked (somehow) I think it is something to do with dell bios.

JUST TO NOTE.

1. The SMBIOS page and theme pages are the only things filled out

2. In the finder window the USB installer is the bottom and the clover on HDD Is on the top
