[solved] Alienware 15 R2 install EI capitan&install Mac Sierra Success

i checked efi folder and @ travelassong



have some "USBFIx.kext" i never use that kext and drivers32 drivers32uefi vboxhfs {which was not adviced}

and all .kext files in "others folder " which is not adviced

What do you mean by "usb fix"?

it's looks like usb problem, just like the first floor in this thread. i made the usbfix.kext as the guide(([Guide] 10.11+ USB changes and solutions)).

em...i just made a kext as the guide(([Guide] 10.11+ USB changes and solutions)). i thought it's usb problem. i will remove vboxhfs from drivers32 drivers32uefi. i had install succeed with 10.11.3. so i just use the kext folder from 10.11.3.

Use USBInjectAll.kext.

I have the same laptop and I'm trying to follow what you've done so far, but the information in here has been very scattered. Can you give a brief summary of what drivers, kexts, and file patches you've installed? Can you also share your EFI folder?

I haven't even been able to boot into the OSX installer yet.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"
