[SOLVED] ALC867 / ACL891

Hi guys
I have been searching this sound issue for 2 weeks. I tried many different ways. RealtekALC.kext that I used didn't work, so I used AppleALC.kext. It works perfectly.
mine is ALC867=ALC3863 (hp mini desktop). and others who have ALC891 (Asus Z97-P). I think it will work too.

installation
1. if you have voodoohda or realtekalc, you need to remove or uninstall it. restart
2. Retore original AppleHDA.kext. this kext is important. bring it back.
2.1 install it using kext utility
2.2 restart
3. move AppleALC.kext to EFI/Clover/kext/other
4. edit layout Audio = 13 on your clover config

I'm on Z97-P motherboard and i have tried for a week to get the audio working, now it works flawlessly!!! THANK U SO MUCH!!
I'm on High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G65) btw.
I think the easiest way to do this is to clean install mac os, use multibeast for High Sierra to install AppleALC (it also installs lilu, which is required for this to work i think) and then move (not copy-paste) the 2 kext's from /Library/Extensions to EFI/Clover/kexts/other. Then right after install, use Clover Configurator to modify the config.plist in EFI/Clover to inject the audio ID which is 13 in this case. Then save the config.plist and restart!
