Hey all,

Z270X Gaming 5 motherboard that uses the ALC1220 chipset. I've installed the Realtek ALC1220 and 100/200 Series Audio drivers in MultiBeast but have no sound. The input/output ports show up in audio preferences however, and it detects headphones being plugged in.

Anyone have working audio?

Oh! I chucked FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext into my EFI----->10.12 folder and suddenly my audio works! Thanks for your solutions!
I've been having so many issues trying to get my audio to work on my new Gigabyte Z370XP, tried almost everything to get it working. I came across your post this morning, put the same two files into my EFI folder and BANG... working. Thanks jamesmcd for finding my solution by finding yours... thumbs up.:headbang:

Just post my case (if anyone has the same issue)

+ FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other
