[Solved] 10.13.6 + GTX 1080Ti not booting

Hey!

I installed my first hackintosh today, but when installed the nvidia web driver (387.10.10.10.40.105), the os stopped booting and gets stuck right before the login screen (in fact I end up with a blurry image of a mountain but no login prompt...).
I was able to boot into the recovery and remove the nvidia kext (/Volumes/MACOS/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext) so I can get back to the system but my every other attempt to install ended up with the same result....
I followed this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...s-high-sierra-10-13-6-387-10-10-10-40.255913/ and set all the boot flags as recommended but no luck...

Fixed.... I turned on also the 2nd monitor I have connected to the gtx.....

I have been sitting around for at least 2 hours with exactly the same issue trying all sorts of shenanigans and all I had to do was turn on my 2nd monitor.
