[SOLVED] USB 3.0 issues with OS X El Capitan (ASUS Z87-A motherboard)

I've a 500 GB USB 3.0 Samsung Samsung M3 Portable as Time Machine disk and when I've plugged on it for the first time nothing on desktop and nothing in Disk utility...

Solution :

1) Download Kext Wizard here : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/top...ller-and-more/
2) Download AppleUSBXHCIPCI.kext here : http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-support/172820-osx-el-capitan-usb-issues-11.html
3) Launch Kext Wizard, Installation tab and choose AppleUSBXHCIPCI.kext to install to /System/Library/Extensions
4) THE magic reboot

Where exactly did you get AppleUSBXHCIPCI.kext from? I can't find it anywhere. Can you please post a link to it?

For 8 series motherboards I recommend using 7/8/9 Series USB 3.0 setting in MultiBeast. Installs FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext to /Library/Extensions.
