Here's my build
EVGA GTX 760 4GB
i7 4770K with standard Heatsink
8 GB RAM - cause my previous 16GB won't work, and the 8 hanging around will
Samsung EVO 840 system drive
6 X Seagate 3TB, 7200rpm, 64MB Cache drives
1X 1.5TB Western Digital Green Drive for data
Antec 850 GOLD - rated 92% efficient
Cooler Master COSMOS SE TOWER
When trying to boot using the Unibeast system, I get a kernal error. I have tried various edits as recommended in other posts, but it doesn't get any better.
Windows is still installed on the 840. I was going to wipe it to make a dual boot. It allowed me to build the raid - 16.3TB with a read and write about 880MB/s according to BlackMagic.
The raid however, disappears after a few minutes. Trying to install the drivers provided by Gigabyte.
The bios is not up to date. It is at F2. Trying to upgrade to F4, the latest gives me an error message that says I don't have the correct installer and I should contact the manufacturer - where do you think I got the bios from.
So, any ideas how I can solve this?
Right now, as I try and drown my sorrows, it is hanging trying to install some drivers off a USB DVD drive.
Oh, ya, I'm on a deadline. I wasn't when I started this on Monday afternoon, but I am quickly approaching a deadline. I will be editing this on an i5 laptop tomorrow.
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks for listening to my rant.
