Hello,

I've just received my copy of Snow Leopard 10.6.3
I booted using iBoot and then inserted the SL disk and started using it.
I waited about 10 minutes and it still hadn't got past the first apple screen with the spinning thing on it.

Has anyone seen this before? How can I actually start installing Mac?
I have a Toshiba Satellite L555-135 laptop with a Toshiba Motherboard, a lot of the components seem to be intel. The processor is a 2.5Ghz i5 and I have a Radeon graphics card.

Just a suggestion, try iBoot Legacy.

Hi dakotar, thanks for the quick answer.

I've tried it but my pc won't even boot with iBoot Legacy. It just keeps restarting. The normal iBoot starts okay but it's the Snow Leopard cd that's not starting the installation process.

Boot with -v -f -x and tell me what happens.

The first one? Or have you managed to select options for the installation?
When you've refresh iBoot and see the Mac CD select it then write -vfx then enter so that you can see where the CD is stopping.

Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is here:
