snow leopard install acer aspire

Hello,
I have a Acer Aspire 5742g-6600 with an i5 and nvidia geforce gt 540mfor dedicated and the intel hd 3000 for integrated.
I know the 540m is so far not compatible with snow leopard and i think people have gotten the 3000 to work. So i am wondering is their a way for me to somehow turn of the 540m and use the 3000 instead

Yes go in Bios and set Video to Integrated

Ive Aspire 5750g and in Bios:

Main --> Graphics Mode ---> Integrated


May u hv to update ur BIOS?

Im almost positive it is at its latest version. If i went to device manager and disabled the 540m. Would that work?

u mean in windows? that wont work sry cuz then its only disabled in win...
u may try booting with


GraphicsEnabler=No

Idk in my Bios it is switchable :/srey

I did update my BIOS. And still no option
