snow leopard boots from iboot cd but not chimera

For some reason my snow leopard boots just fine from the iboot cd but not from chimera alone. I have Win 7, Snow Leopard 10.6.8, and Ubuntu 11.04 on separate HDDs. Windows and Ubuntu work fine. Snow leopard boots to the gray apple screen, that little wheel thing spins for 5-10 seconds(not the rainbow one) and then that gray screen comes down with that box that says "you must shut off your computer" in 47 different languages. I would assume I have to alter the boot loader file since its not a problem with the os, but what should i do?

Have you got a file called com.apple.Chameleon.plist in /Extra?

yeah, thats what i meant by boot loader file, excuse my noobness. I figured i had to add something to that, but what?

Your graphics cards is only supported in 10.7, Lion.

really, why does it allow me to boot with the cd them. I'm not opposed to upgrading at all. Was gunna do it eventually any way. So... just do that and it should work?

The NVIDIA drivers for 10.6.8 do NOT include support for the 500 series. Only in the drivers Apple ships in Lion.
