SmUUID vs Custom UUID?

What is the difference between the Custom UUID in System Parameters and the SmUUID? Do I need to generate a different UUID for both of those or use the same UUID?

The clover wiki links don't give me enough information.

I already know I need to generate an smUUID for messages to work that wasn't what I asked. The MLB and the board serial number are the same number and you have to enter it under both SMBIOS and RTvariables. I wanna make sure it's not the same with smUUID and customUUID. On my previous hack I had them the same.

If you follow An iDiot's Guide To iMessage you should only fill SmUUID and leave CustomUUID empty.
