I'd suggest that due to the board NOT technically supporting NVME drives, albeit it does support M2 drives, that the speed is hampered.
I have the same situation with and W10 office machine. As I believe it's a driver situation, having been through the equivalent issue with a Z77 board, in the Z77 case a modded BIOS sorted the issue. See the below link for a discussion about the BIOS issue.
