Hello guys,
Greetings.
Recently iv'e upgrade my Intel ssd with a samsung m.2 nvme 256GB.
I think i do not get full speed.

The write speed is around 300/500 MBps. But the drive specification says it can write in 900 MBps
My pc config is GA-X99P-SLI, 6800K, GTX 970, 16GB G.Skill 3200, Siearra 10.12.5 installed.
Other than the ssd speed everything works good.

NB. (I install windows in it for tasting) Sometimes it write in almost 1GBps speed in windows. Sometimes not. And sometimes (not everytime) Windows Load in 3 seconds.

What's the problem actually?

And is this normal...??

Because, The SATA/SATA Express Link Speed Shows 6.0 GT/s

Thanks.

Thanks RehabMan for your Reply.
I made my samsung ssd bootable using your method from above link u provide. except your method I keep my HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_5.kext into /EFI/Clover/Kexts/Others folder. (is that a problem?)
As i told no problem for boot or external (orange icon) problem. it's fully! recognized by OS X. but i don't get full speed. speed is same as my intel 5 series had.

Thanks Again

Thank you My Man.

Your configuration looks fine.
Probably your performance issue has something to do with how the hardware is installed.
Check your performance on Windows.

Hello Rehabman..
Me agian.
Here is the windows speedtest of my ssd using crystal diskmark.

speed.png
Is it OK speed?
If it is.. i don't understand why the manufacturer advertised "Sequential read/write speeds of up to 2,500MB/s and 1,500MB/s." bla bla bla......

Thanks Bro. :)

It is ok, but not great. Like I said, it may have to do with limits imposed by the slot in which you installed it.
Performance of the 256 model is not as good as the 512...
And if your SSD is near full, performance will suffer even more.
And beating the device over the head with benchmark run after benchmark run will deteriorate it even quicker...
