Slow Ethernet Speeds

Hi all,

This question never seems to get answered. But I have a weird issue with my network.

I have a 25mbps connection and all my devices will register in that area. But my hack has a horrendous ping upwards of 2.5 seconds and speeds of under 4mbps.

Does anyone know why?

Also I am on 10.10.2.

I have tried different Intel kexts and none seem to make any difference. Speed will not go above 3.5mbps.

Did you ever have any luck figuring it out? I'm having the same issue with two different builds. I have an Intel NUC and an ASUS Sabertooth P67 with the same slow speeds. I'm using the Intel e1000 kext and I can't get over 100mb speeds. It's annoying more than anything else. I've tried different versions of the kext, and other modified kexts without any luck.
