Hi,

Sorry if this is a very noob question (I tried searching before, honest!)

My hackintoshes sleep sometimes works and sometimes doesn't when 10 minutes is up (what it's set to in settings). When it works all of the lights go off on the tower, as well as mouse and keyboard.

Sometimes it doesn't do this! It will just turn the screen off and keeps higher power to all other things.

If I manually press sleep it always works.

Using the correct revision/bios DSDT for my MOBO with all the power settings on.

I can't find nullcpupowermanagement.kext but not sure I am looking in the right place!

Cheers

I am Having the same problem, and I don't know why :banghead:
I tried different combinations, but energy sleep function some times works some times not
but if I put sleep manually it works
NullPower kext is in your HDD/Extra/Extension
If you find any solution or change, post it plz.

Just don't bother with auto sleep, it's flaky even on a real Mac.

If you really need it, use Pleasesleep.

I suspected it was a "feature" that stopped it sleeping if it was doing something it deemed to important to sleep. Thanks for the suggestion :)
