I just notice another issue when i put my hackintosh in sleep it never wake up and i 've to restart
Is there any kext or install i must do in order to solve this or maybe the solution is to never sleep but it is not environment friendly ;-)

And strange think also TextEdit is not working properly (Spinning when opening and hang have to force quit) i already delete the pref files (plist) and reboot but no effect if anyone know a good solution

That's all (i hope)
For information (another old not the same as my signature) Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L Motherboard, Core 2 Duo 7400 2,8 and geforce 210 TwinTech 1g (working perfectly thanks to Karacho advice)

You need to make sure you have the appropriate SleepEnabler kext -- here is the kext for 10.6.6. Just delete the old sleepenabler.kext and drop that in your /extras folder with the others. Then run systemUtils on MB and you should be good to go. force sleep works great, but timed sleep doesn't actually put the CPU and fans to sleep, just the monitor.

VERY IMPORTANT -- when it's time to upgrade your software, never use Software Update, and make sure you delete the SleepEnabler.kext before rebooting or you WILL get kernel panic.

Are you running OS 10.6.6 or 10.6.7? There is a known problem in 10.6.7 with some Opentype Postscript fonts, affecting any file that uses them or opens them, including TextEdit. See here:

Your problem with TextEdit may be unrelated to this glitch in 10.6.7. However, it could still be a font problem. Open Applications/Font Book and verify all of your fonts, delete duplicates, and deactivate any problematic fonts.

Ok thanks and sorry for wrong place post Tonymacx86 :)
Exact i'm in 10.6.7 ;-)
I made a check with Font Book and no error all green …
I can not test again textEdit because i trash it it was so awful
I use Neooffice so far with no issue ;-) strange
Anyway if someone know how to recover my TextEdit an solve this little issue … ?
For the sleep issue prupose it was working at first time but i had to remove those kext after some reboot because they gave me a wonderfull Kernel panic :( so no deep sleep

 Find the solution for TextEdit it was check as 32 bits into get info ?i
So i uncheck and then it load as 64 bits an run smooth youpie !! ;-)
