I am SO close to having a fully stable hack system. Only two problems elude me. one is stable system sleep, which is VERY important to me. Every time I try to put the system to sleep, it wakes back up to the desktop in seconds. USB input is also very slow and unresponsive for about a minute, then functions normally. Strange. I have'nt tried auto sleep because i always put my Hacks to sleep manually by the menu. I feel that the answer is something very simple in MultiBeast, but I have no idea what to select. The sleep thread in Post Installation is too large to read entirely and does not hold any answers for me. Can anyone here with a similar Z77x UP5 system and working sleep help me out? I will sing the praises of anyone who can get me working sleep for my system. Thanks in advance.

Too large to read yet you know it holds no answers?

Yes- it is currently at 21 pages and most all of them deal with sleep issues on other gigabyte mobos. Search within the thread is less than effective. Any posts regarding sleep on the Z77x UP5 TH have not helped me solve my problem. I would not make that statement unless I had at least tried my best to find a possible solution among the many postings. Again I am sure it is a simple setting or MultiBeast checkbox, but I do not know what.

did you ever get it working??? i am having a similar issue with this mobo

Have you disabled WOL in the bios?

Hello and thanks for the replies. Onamission- no I still have not been able to track down thew cause of the sleep issue. I think it may end up being a hardware issue, but i don't know. Beezlebozo- Yes I have WOL ( wake on LAN?) disabled in my mobo bios. Still no working sleep of either kind. I will always keep my ears open to new suggestions from you kind folks.
