Hello,
I have a long history with os x on my laptop and finally I decided to install it on my new desktop, GA-P55-UD3 + Core i5. The install went great, I used the ready made DSDT for this motherboard taken from this site.
There is only 1 issue, solving which would make this a 100% "like-a-real-mac" install.

When I tell it to sleep it shuts down quiet abruptly. The mobo goes to sleep because I can wake it by moving the mouse, however, after wake the BIOS comes up as if it was powered on and not resumed from sleep.

Anyone has any ideas how to fix it? I tried sleepenabler.kext, no changes. The kexts I'm using: fakesmc + R1000SL, the rest is vanilla.

It helped. The system sleeps and wakes. However, after a wake the keyboard no longer works (usb), usb mouse is still working. Then, when I want to restart I get KP caused by kextunload.
Console messages don't say much:

A workaround for the usb issues, if you have one lying around, is to installl a PCI usb 2.0 adapter (the PCI bus is switched off in sleep & properly resets on wake). Keep an eye on Tony's 10.6.3 Update blog for other methods http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/03/ ... pdate.html.

If I had other usb devices attached apart from the KB/Mouse Bluetooth dongle then the system would rewaken straight away. With those also plugged into a PCI adapter problem does not occur.
