Hi All,

I have followed the laptop guide via Rehabman, used the correct config.plist, kexts, & have read the guide about power management (Haswell & later not needing any configuration).

I have the backlight control working fine, but when I close the lid nothing happens, when I manually select sleep it turns the screen black but the laptop remains on.

Any help greatly appreciated.

@thelord78,

Not sure where you got the idea that Haswell and later CPU's require no configuration for PM ?

In most instances you need to enable the X86PlatformPlugin by setting PlugInType=1 either by SSDT hot patch or via your clover as detailed in this post :-

Cheers
Jay
