Skylake Thunderbolt 3 for Music Production

thank you for your feedback zipb. in your configuration multibeat, you use imac 14,2 or mac pro 3.1 or other ?

iMac 17,1. I don't know if 17,1 is the best choice though, do a search on this site. There are issues for some.

But my tb -> fw has been working flawless for weeks.

Gigabyte z170 Gaming 7 and Apollo Twin Thunderbolt with Startech adaptor is ok, full functional !

What made you go for the Gaming 7 instead of for example UD5 TH? Just curious

When I bought the Gaming 7, the UD5-TH was not yet out.
And the Gaming 7 have more option.

it's full functional for me too with the startech adaptor.
I have just a little problem with the shutdown. When I shutdown with the OS mac El capitan , the hackintosh stop Mac OS and reboot. I must to choose the windows HD after for a clean shutdown.
If you have got some tips. I checked with the search but no result.

In my case, a Startech PCIe FW card was the culprit. I replaced it with a compatible one.

ok thank you. I don't have a FW card. I plug the startech thunderbolt adaptor in the USB C/thunderbolt 3 port from my mobo. When I check the hardware informations in El capitan. Mac os inform me that the usb C/thunderbolt port is a "PCI" port. I can't created a new thunderbolt port from El capitan. It's maybe this configuration my problem.

Have you checked the shutdown fix option in Clover? That may help.

thank you for your answer, I never use clover, I used unibeast for the boot key and multibeast for the post installation.
My mobo is with UEFI.
