Skylake for productivity

I am looking for a skylake build. I have decided
Gigabyte H170M-D3H mobo.
I am confused about processor.
The softwares I will use are Affinity Designer/Photo, Adobe creative suit, some 3d modelling software.
I want to know what can be best for me a i5 6400/6500 or i3 6100. I'm gonna play some old games like cod4mw occasionally.

i5 will give you better performance over the i3. If you're doing a lot of rendering I would get the i5.
