First of all thanks for everybodys efforts to make this as easy as possible. I have no experience with building a pc and was able to install ML without too much trouble at all.

The one thing that was nagging me was that I was unable to get the bootloader to install. Then I saw this post: http://www.tonymacx86.com/25-boot0-error-official-guide.html That looked like the ticket.

But I couldn't get the Unibeast ML Installer to recognize my bluetooth dongle (only have a Magic Trackpad at home), and whenever I tried to go to terminal or diskutility it would freeze and not respond to the keyboard.

Then I saw this post: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2012/01/hackintosh-basics-kernel-panics-boot.html. Single user mode looked like fun and that maybe I could do the process described in the "Boot0 Error Official Guide" just through the keyboard. Dinked around behind the scenes for a while and tried the command: dd if=/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2

After I restarted at the Chimera screen there's only the Unibeast USB stick and a white square where my ML installed HD was. Starting up into the Unibeast USB and launching Disk Utility shows that HD is still there but there's no partition under the HD name. BIOS still sees the HD too.

So. Do I have to reinstall the system? Can I do anything in single user mode to fix this? Or do I need terminal and disk utility? Any idea what happened?

Thanks to all. Updating my profile to show my hardware in a quick minute.
