Try iBoot 2.6.2 - redownload the iBoot.zip file and re-burn it.

Also when you do "-x -v" can you please take a picture of the error message (if there is one) or where it gets stuck.

Thanks

Looks more like a disk problem to me - if you swap GFX cards and reboot then can you make it into the OSX Install screen?

What hard drives do you have plugged in when doing this install? What is the chipset of your hard drive controller on your motherboard?

Have you got your BIOS all set to AHCI and HPET 64 bit? Have you removed all other drives and apart from your primary OSX HD and DVD drive? What about removing any excess RAM over 4GB?

I swaped only the Nvidia 8800GT into, and it runs perfect

it works perfect with an Nvidia 8800GT, i dont believe its an Harddisk-Problem

only one SATA-Drive Seagate 250gig

Have you got your BIOS all set to AHCI and HPET 64 bit? Have you removed all other drives and apart from your primary OSX HD and DVD drive? What about removing any excess RAM over 4GB?

YES ..YES... only 2 Stripes , a 1GB

GA-EX58-UD3R, core i7-920 etc....

Re: UPDATED Simple HD 57/58/59xx Installation Using MultiBeast

@haribo49

Since you got to the install screen with the 8800GT installed, it sounds like the same issue I had. Just install with the 8800GT in the machine, update to 10.6.4 (with graphic update) or 10.6.5 then run Multibeast. After you install Multibeast, shut down and swap cards, then reboot. From there it just a matter of doing some fine tuning.
