Sierra: Premiere Pro playhead freezing

Hey guys,

I'm having this weird issue with Premiere Pro.

Whenever I'm playing something in the timeline, if I move the mouse, the playhead freezes. It seems to be a GUI problem.

I'm on Sierra 10.12.2, Z170X-UD3, GTX970.

I've attached a video. Has anyone had this problem before?

Update - did some troubleshooting and I've found the problem.

My problem is actually the mouse! I have a Razer Naga Hex v2.

I've tried a wireless cheap mouse and the issue doesn't occur. This is really weird. I don't know what to do.

Could this be a USB problem?

Hm, basically the problem disappears if play and move my pointer on either of the 1080p monitors.

This only happens on the 4K monitor, where I usually have the interface on.

It's weird that it just seems to lower the framerate (of the GUI) depending on how fast I'm moving the pointer until it stops (when moving the pointer fast).

Could it be a graphics driver problem? Any ideas at all?
