Hey guys,
I'm trying to install macOS Sierra on my Alienware Area 51-R2 (late 2014). I'm using a macOS Sierra image downloaded via the Mac App Store on my MacBook Pro (early 2015).
My hardware:
Mainboard: Unknown (Dell gives no infos about it, but I think it is a MSI mainboard)
CPU: Intel Core i7 5820K
GPU: GeForce GTX 980 with 4GB (Manufacturer unknown)
RAM: 8GB DDR4 running at 2400MHz (Manufacturer unknown)
I'm using the EFI from here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/can-not-install-sierra-on-msi-motherboard.209077/#post-1385837. Obvsly, I'm using UEFI.
I'm getting as far as this:
The last thing I can see is "PCI configuration begin". After about 1-2 minutes the computer just restarts.
My boot flags are: -v nvda_drv=1
Does anyone have a clue whats going on there?
Best regards!
