I am using the F5 Bios. It's always worked really well so far, so haven't touched it.As for multiple entries, I haven't had any.
A question for tofuconfetti that follows from the quote above: Given that F5 works for you and you don't have issue with multiple boot entries, are you using multiple internal drives for primary and backup tasks? In my case, my primary and backup El Capitan are on two separate Samsung 850 EVO SSD's. My primary and backup data are on two separate WD Black rotational drives. It would be helpful to know how this compares with your configuration.
