Shutdowns and Freezes after 10.6.7 to 10.6.8

HI,

I updated my stable hackintosh from 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 to run the new version of Digital Performer. All is working great but I keep getting random shutdowns and freezes. Any troubleshooting ideas? I'd think PSU but when I read threads about random shutdown and freezes a lot of people seem to swap PSU without results.

Random freezes can be anything.
But sudden shutdowns are often failing PSU.

Thanks Alpha. I disconnected a HD and the system seems lto have stabilized so a PSU issue might indeed by the case. I'm going to run it for a while and see what happens. I'll report back....
