Shutdown and Sleep aren't Working

Whenever my Hackintosh goes to sleep it's impossible to wake it up without turning off the power supply and then turning it back on. Also, if I try to shutdown my Hackintosh it just turns back on.

My computer was doing that very same thing on OSX High Sierra. What I did to fix it:

1. Go to BIOS and look for "Wake on LAN" or "Power On By PCI-E/PCI" (In my case, it was the 2nd option)
2. Once you've found it, disable it.

This might help with your sleep problem as well! Let me know if it works because I have something else you can try as well!

My computer was doing that very same thing on OSX High Sierra. What I did to fix it:

1. Go to BIOS and look for "Wake on LAN" or "Power On By PCI-E/PCI" (In my case, it was the 2nd option)
2. Once you've found it, disable it.

This might help with your sleep problem as well! Let me know if it works because I have something else you can try as well!

try to shutdown my Hackintosh it just turns back on
I had this issue, was tied to USB configuration

Do you have usb powered devices connected at shutdown (internal bluetooth, dongle, external drive...) ?
If yes, try to disconnect all and see if shutdown is OK
If OK, at first step you can try to move your devices to different USB 2/USB 3 ports and see if better

In my case a long term fix was to inject usbinjectall with a custom ssdt following the guides :
