I'm having trouble installing Catalina (from Mojave) and wondering if one of these issues is causing problems.
(install stops at end of apple screen)
1. Should DefaultVolume name in .plist match the exact name of the OSX drive?
- I generated a new USB install, and the .plist has "MacHDD" in the DefaultVolume slot.
- Do I need to edit the .plist and enter the exact name of my OSX drive?

2. When I install from the new OS Install disk (USB drive), does it override the previous .plist and other information in the Clover folder?
- my installation of Mojave seems to be corrupted. It will not boot up. I think the Clover or .plist got messed up.
3. When installing a new OS, does the previous one need to be working correctly?
- related to previous question. I may have unintentionally made changes to Clover that caused problems.

RE: #1 above - yes, of course (stupid question) - name must match exactly
- i missed a space in my drive name - corrected it and now clover auto boots to correct drive
