"Shared" Connected Servers gone from Finder

So all of a sudden my "Shared" sidebar pane in Finder is just GONE I have a harddrive connected through my router and my Mac Mini is shared. They used to be there but just vanished.

I checked the Finder Preferences to see if things were checked under "Shared" and they are. Reset did not fix it.

Last thing i remembered changing before they vanished was turning on firewall. I have since turned off firewall but they are still gone.

I can still access the drive through the IP address in chrome.
And my Mac Mini can still see shared devices/drives/computers in Finder and it is also running Yosemite

I think i fixed it i remembered that i had also edited a plist when trying to fix the sleep issue im having and after more research i disabled the bonjour service . i replaced the plist from a timemachine backup and i can now see my netgear drive. ill have to wait till i get home to make sure i can see my mac mini
