I am getting the Self-Assigned IP addess on my ethernet card. I tried everything I believe.

1) Removed and IntelMausiEthernet 2.4.0.0 after I installed it with MultiBeat (Reboot)
2) Reinstall with MultiBeast (Reboot)
3) Removed IntelMausiEthernet again (/L/E)
4) Installed IntelMausiEthernet package that I download from tonymacx86.com
5) Removed IntelMausiEthernet again (/L/E)
6) Reinstall with MultiBeast (Reboot)
7) I used older version of IntelMausiEthernety as well from MultiBeast
8) and so on
9) Assign IP manually got a connect but ping to router wouldn't return anything.
10) Contacting the forum for HELP Please

One thing is funny though whenever I connect with the ethnernet cable to the router it starts to disconnect from the internet and comes back after a minute or so.

I am sorry. How do I compile this?

Thank you. The router was working so I suspected the cable. All my devices are wireless so had to run out to get a new cable. Problem resolved. Again, thank you.
