Security Update 2021-004 10.15.7 Killed My System

When I tried to install the Security Update 2021-004 10.15.7, my desktop hackintosh stopped working.
It has a MSI x299 SLI Plus board and i7-7820X processor running Clover 5119.

Every thing worked perfectly before the update. The update first ran OK after reboot, then left me with the Clover option Boot macOS Install from Macintosh HD - Data. When I do that, it stops with errors.

AMF: Only 60/256 slide values are usable!
Valid slides 128-187

When I choose the normal boot option for macOS, it stops as well with different errors.
Sometimes, when I'm lucky after maybe 10 or 20 times, I'm able to boot until the next reboot.

What can I do to fix this to use my system again?

Totally guessing here, but perhaps you have something similar to my experience.

Every time I update, MacOS installer changes a couple of settings in the UEFI (BIOS). I need to go to the UEFI and change the settings back to get it to continue. Check to see if all of your UEFI (BIOS) settings are set as necessary for your installation.

i switched to opencore back then and got it working again
